No Bake, 7 Minute Granola Bars

Hi!! It's been a little bit but not as long as last time. I whipped up these granola bars last night in under 7 minutes and I let them set in the fridge overnight. They are amazing. This recipe makes 10 bars and requires no small kitchen appliances.

Coconut Flax Granola

I just got back from a trip to Whole Foods and while I was there I was hanging out in front of some granola that was on sale, pondering whether or not I should get it. I then thought of the oats I still had at home and I thought, oh yeah I can make granola. I love granola in yogurt, which I plan on having for lunch. So, now that I'm home, there is granola in the oven and omg it smells great! I made the granola pretty light and simple, choosing to omit nut butter. I added some amazing, nutritious ingredients and some maple syrup and that was it. This took a second to whip up. Granola is awesome for just about anything, top your yogurt with it, take a handful in a bag for a snack, put on top of ice cream, eat as cereal with milk, it's a great source of energy and you can add any healthy ingredient you wish. You can experiment with the sweetener as well so feel free to use brown rice syrup or agave instead of maple syrup. I just love maple syrup! So, use my recipe here a

Crunchy Peanut Butter Granola

Every time I crave cereal, I think of  how much healthier it would be if I made my own. Thus, how this granola recipe came to fruition. I think you are aware of my obsession with brown rice syrup, a super low glycemic alternative to sugar so that has definitely made an appearance in this recipe. The best thing about granola is you can dress it up or make it as plain as you wish. It's great to eat as cereal with milk or just bring it with you as a snack to munch on in the middle of your day. It doesn't have to be a sugary mess; it can be quite nutritious, full of fiber and healthy fats.

Quick and easy healthy granola

I was hungry for a snack this afternoon and I need to go food shopping so I decided to make a recipe with my oats. This granola recipe is very quick and easy and very delicious. You can eat this as a snack or even with milk as cereal for breakfast. Here is what I did:

Gorgeous granola

I found this granola recipe on www.thekindlife.com .  I love Alicia Silverstone and I love her cookbook The Kind Diet.  She posted this as a dessert but I eat it for breakfast or before a run.  Homemade granola is so much better than granola you buy in a store because you know exactly what is going into it.  This recipe calls for agave nectar instead of sugar.  Here is what you need: 2 tbsp. of peanut or almond butter 2 tbsp. of agave nectar 1tsp of vanilla 1tsp of cinnamon 1 cup of rolled oats Combine the agave nectar, peanut butter and vanilla in a large bowl.  Add the oats and mix until all the oats are covered in the peanut butter/agave mixture.  You can add the cinnamon last or sprinkle it on top of your finished product.  Grease a pan and heat your oven to 325 degrees.  Spoon the granola mixture into the greased pan and spread it around.  Add the cinnamon if you haven't already.  Pop it in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the granola is brown on top and th
