I'm trying to take better photos, ones that will be more eye catching. I use my phone to take all food photos and I use an app called line camera that takes higher quality photos. Right now I'm playing with backgrounds and figuring out if inside or outside pictures are working best. I don't have great outside space since I live in New York City and only have a fire escape to take outside photos on :) Follow me on instagram and let me know what you think of the photos. Dijon mustard sauce:
2 tbsp of Dijon mustard
1 tbsp of filtered water
2 cloves of fresh garlic
1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
Pepper
Blend everything in your food processor and pour onto your food. I use just plain Dijon mustard to dip my potatoes in. You can mix in some pepper and lemon juice to spice it up.
Thai rice noodles are my favorite noodles to make, they are light and completely yummy. You can buy them in any Asian specialty store or health food store.
I steamed kale, spinach and sweet potatoes for this recipe. Buy a steamer if you don't have one, it takes the pressure off you if you're trying to avoid cooking with oil. The steaming cooks your veggies and brings out their taste. After I steam kale, it's bright green and I can just enjoy it plain, right out of the steamer. Steaming is awesome, it helps you eat low calorie and takes 7 minutes tops. You will need to test your potatoes with a fork to see if they are done but even they don't take long in a steamer. Place a lid over your steamer to speed up the cooking process.
What is your favorite food to make in your steamer?
