It's so hot today...for my followers not in the area, the east coast (PA, NJ, DE, NY) is going through our first heatwave of the season. It's perfect weather for a water ice snack. I whipped this up in less than 5 minutes. Throw this in your blender:
6-7 ice cubes
6 strawberries
3 frozen strawberries
Water
Blend everything and add water to make it water ice consistency. Note: this does not taste like store bought water ice because they add sugar, I did not add sugar. If you need to add it, that's fine but I would add finely graulated sugar so it blends in easily. I chose to leave the sugar out because the strawberries make it sweet enough for me. It is sooo yummy!
